Penchard was formed by Penny Peters and Richard Sandle
- both trained actors with experience
of the corporate sector.
Richard
(BA)
trained at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh. He has worked as an
actor (under the stage name Richard Keynes) for Pitlochry Festival
Theatre; The British Shakespeare Company; the Everyman, Cheltenham; and
the BBC. He has toured the 'The Play What I Wrote' and filmed a
commercial for Eurostar. Corporate sector work includes appearances in
corporate training performances for Barclays and South West Trains; a
training film for lawyers; and roleplay for Ian McLean Consulting, Goss
Consulting, Ferrar ID Consulting and Roleplay UK.
Penny
(BA Hons, MA, PostGrad Dip) read English at Trinity College, Cambridge, where she won awards for declamation and poetry. On leaving university she trained as a journalist, cutting her
teeth on a local daily newspaper;
reporting on anything from carnivals to kidnappings, she sold some
stories to the nationals along the way. After a few years she
switched sides - moving from journalism to PR, where she gained local, regional and national coverage for a variety of different organisations.
She took a career break to train as an actress at the respected London drama school, Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, where she gained a Postgraduate Diploma in Acting. As an actress her corporate work includes role-play for Ian
McLean Consulting, Coventry University and Goss Consulting, and a short film for British Gas. |
